Capturing the light of meaning, one frame at a time.
My dad collected National Geographic magazines from every decade since the 1950s. When I was young I would spend hours looking through them, enamored with the unique and often stunning photos and visual stories from each corner of our globe.
I was afforded the opportunity to visit many places far off the beaten path over a long career in the U.S. Military and in so doing developed a real passion for collecting imagery that imparts to viewers (myself included) a sense of the energy and attitude that I experienced in those moments. As I developed the requisite skills to actually operate a DSLR and capture proper compositions and finally bring them to life with post-production, I made it a my new mission to capture energy and attitude through photography.
